Jubayr reported that the Prophet (sallahu alayhi wa salaam) said: “Rejoice! For verily, this Qur’an one part of it is in the Hands of Allah, and the other part is in your hands. Therefore hold on to it, for you will never be destroyed, not will you ever go astray after it!” (Musnad Ahmad)

‘Umar reported that the Prophet (sallahu alayhi wa salaam) said: “Indeed, Allah will raise (or honor) people (i.e. in this world and the Hereafter) by this Book, and He will debase others by it.” (Muslim)
