On Sunday 3rd June, 2012, The Noble Shaykh
'Abdullaah ibn Mar'ee al-'Adani (May Allaah Preserve
Him), one of the virtuous scholars of Yemen, and from the best
students of Ash-Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hadee' al-Wad'ee (May Allaah
have mercy upon him) will deliver a LIVE Tele-Lecture with Muwahhideen
Publications on the reality of the deficiency of a muslim's
actions being directly related to a shortcoming in their eeman
(belief) and aqeedah (creed). The honourable Shaykh who is
the head of Dar ul Hadeeth, Shihr, Yemen is well known to, and
recommended by, the major scholars of our time, namely Shaykh Rabee' ibn Hadi
al-Madkhalee , Shaykh 'Ubayd ibn 'Abdullaah al-Jaabiree (May Allaah preserve
them both) and many more. This event will be broadcast LIVE in Masjid Ibn
'Abbaas, Tobago, two masaajid in Trinidad, Masjid ul
Khaleefah and Masjid us Sunnah, and three Masaajid in the U.S. Masjid
Al-Bukhaari, Florida, Masjid Ibn 'Abbas, Georgia and Masjid
Uthaymeen, New Jersey. This lecture event will be translated LIVE
into English inshaaAllaah.
The statement, "deficiency in
actions is from deficiency in creed" was quoted by Shaykh ul Islaam
ibn Tayiyyah in his book Majmoo' al Fatawaa, as a statement of
the salaf. This profound saying is one that requires deep
contemplation, as any individual who finds that it becomes difficult to perform
righteous actions and easy to fall into the disobedience of Allaah,
should examine their heart lest it be affected by a disease that will
ultimately lead to their destruction, we seek refuge in Allaah
from this. The matter of a muslim's belief and creed is fundamental to
their salvation and one that demands utmost attention and care. Our Shaykh
will highlight this phenomenon which plagues the muslimeen and eludes
the most avid worshipper.
We ask Allaah Ash-Shaafee
to cure us of the sicknesses and diseases that hide themselves in our hearts
and destroy our eeman. May Allaah Al-Qawee strengthen us
against the traps of shaytaan ar-rajeem.
