Another Excellent Read! Tasfiya and Tarbiya Purification and Cultivation and the Need Which the Muslims Have for It

As’Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

As you all know I love to read books this is how I got the name Umm Kutubah. I just finish reading this book to my husband entitled  “Tasfiya and Tarbiya Purification and Cultivation and the Need Which the Muslims Have for It” by: Shaikh  Abu Abdir Rahman Muhammad Naasir-ur-Deen Al-Albaanee 

GIRLS another Excellent! Read  with all of the fitnah that is going on if you have this book in your home  I suggest that you pick it up and read it today. You might just learn something cause I sure did… if you’ve  read the last book that I spoke about “Understanding The Current Affairs from an Islamic Perspective” then follow it up with this one. Ok back to the book!

The Shaikh said:  “Let us then just restrict ourselves (momentarily) to the difference between the four main Madhhabs, the Madhhabs which we say are from the Madhhabs of Ahlus-Sunnah. Which (interpretation) of the religion is it then, that is the cure that will lift the humiliation from us? For if we return to any of the Madhhabs, we will find that there exist several issues, or ten issues, or dozens of issues which conflict with the Sunnah, not to mention that some of these issues (also) conflict with the Quran. Because of this, I believe that any reformation by the callers to Islâm and those who pursue the establishment of the Islamic state, has to be built on them being sincere. It has to be built upon them returning to making themselves understand, first and foremost the religion which the Messenger (sallahu alayhi wa salaam) came with, and then secondly to make the Ummah understand the religion. It has to be built upon the fact that there is no way towards it and no way back to the understanding of the religion in reality in which Allah revealed it, except by studying the Quran and Sunnah. And this is what I believe to a consensus amongst all the jurists.

Without doubt, the Imams of the past (may Allah have mercy upon them) due to their excellence and the excellence which their Lord had given them warned their early followers, who were upon knowledge from being attached to them, from following them blindly and from placing them as the origin of the return (to the religion). They warned them if they did these things, then they would forget the origin of the Sharee’ah; the Quran and the Sunnah.

Ajeeb! I  cannot stress enough the importance of learning this Deen for yourself stop buying books and just letting them collect dust  pick them up and read them so what if they are 20 pages -400 pages Read! Read! Read  as long as they are books on the Haqq.  We have no more time to waste. I’m hungry, what about you? So pick up a book and Eat!  

Understanding the Current Affairs ...

I must say after reading this book yesterday it has brought a lot things into prospective  concerning the affairs of our current state I encourage everyone to read this book. 

Shaikh Al-Albaani said regarding this matter of Fiqh-Al-Waaqi

What must be addressed here is that: the Fiqh [understanding of Islâmic affairs], that is required from the Muslims is not just restricted to the four schools of thought; also it is not the Fiqh [understanding of Islâmic affairs], which some of the youths that are on the field of Da’wah [Islâmic call], call to.

This is because the juristic issues that are Fard [obligatory] upon the Muslims both the Fard Kifiyah [collective ones] and the Fard Ayn [individual ones], are bigger and more extent than the aforementioned Fiqh [understanding of the four schools of thoughts]. From among the Fiqh [understanding of Islâmic affairs] that must be acquired is: “Having understanding of the Book [Qur’ân],” “Having knowledge of the Sunnah,” “Having understanding of the language [Arabic],” “Having the knowledge of the human being and the universe,” and “Having the knowledge of differences of opinion” and the likes.

These types of Fiqh [understanding of Islâmic affairs]; are no less important than the aforementioned Fiqh [jurisprudence] and those are the four schools of thought or the Fiqh [of the current affairs], which is the subject matter of this book.
